This slot wire mesh panel is woven from 1.5 mm stainless steel 304 wire with a 2 mm opening, producing a long slot aperture that lets near-size particles pass through while the wire crown keeps the deck open. The 1480 x 1220 mm panel is finished with an edge tension side so the screen can be pulled tight on the deck of a vibrating screen and hold uniform tension across the whole working area.

Near-size particles that would bridge a square opening can rotate and drop through the elongated slot, which is the main reason slot wire mesh outperforms plain square weave on damp or flaky feed. Combined with the 1.5 mm wire crown and the edge tension side, the panel keeps a stable open area through the whole shift, cutting manual deck cleaning and downtime. Stainless steel 304 construction also allows wash water and mildly acidic slurry without the rapid rust-through seen on mild steel screens.
Each panel is wrapped in waterproof paper, interleaved with foam protection, and stacked in an export-grade wooden crate secured with steel strapping. Panels are stacked face to face to protect the tension hooks during sea freight.
